The flameless venting device consists of two parts—an explosion venting panel and a flame quenching module. The explosion venting panel responds to rapid increases in deflagration pressure, immediately opening to reduce pressure. When the expanding fireball passes through the open venting panel, it is intercepted by the flame quenching module. The stainless steel precision mesh, supported by a frame, acts as a three-dimensional flame trap, extinguishing the flame and preventing its propagation, thereby avoiding secondary or multiple explosions. The flame quenching module eliminates deflagration flames, reduces the temperature of hot gases, and captures both burning and unburned dust passing through the open venting panel.
Simultaneously, pressure waves or noise generated by production equipment are significantly reduced. As flames pass through the mesh flame arrestor, heat exchange occurs between the arrestor and the flames, rapidly cooling the high-temperature flames, venting pressure and smoke, while further reducing pressure waves or noise from production equipment.

The pressure waves and flames from explosions may cause secondary or multiple explosions, posing risks. Therefore, relying solely on explosion venting panels for dust collectors is unreliable. We recommend using flameless explosion venting + isolation technology (a cost-effective solution) or suppression + isolation technology to ensure production safety.
